This is the new Rihanna song - Russian Roulette. Most people don't like it at first, because she usually does more pop stuff, but this is slower and "boring". At first I disliked it... but I really like it now. I like her more "dark" songs, she seems more passionate singing them. Should be noted this recording is actually a little higher pitched than it should be, but I only found one other link with the proper recording and it didn't have her new album cover in the video.

Well, this has been an awesome awesome day.

For the past week, I've been struggling with last minute stuff to hand in today, and it's finally ALL over :D. I woke up lucky today - I managed to get to the bus on time (the bus driver has been picking me up on the way to the next stop, lol)(not that I really care but still), then I found $10 while I was walking off the bus, and Nam taught me a little bit of Calc during spare which proved to be enough for my calc quiz today... I think I might have got perfect or at least close to perfect (I added in a random negative sign where it didn't belong :( ). Then, I skipped IB (not skipped, mind you, told Nadin that one of the Prom sellers was absent and someone had to sell for them) and wrote up cue cards for our West and the World presentation today, and 4th I semi practised, semi made new cue cards. Vickita, Satveer and I ran through it once quickly and then we had to present. Needless to say everything was pretty bad. At that point, however, I really didn't give a damn. I was barely even nervous when we started the presentation, and I'm usually pretty nervous. I think we ended up getting 9, 9, 9 and 8 on the presentation in general, and then individually, I got 10, 10, 10 and 9 (it might have been 8.5, I can't remember very well now). 

I went to walmart to order new contacts, they're sending me a trail pair of some Bausch and Lomb contacts... I've got a REALLY awkward eye size (it's too flat) so not a lot of contacts come in that size.. and if they do, they don't have a lot of water in them... meaning they get dry quickly, and then they suck. My best option is disposable, but they're way too expensive. So my predicament leaves me always trying new contact lens brands. Joy. Hopefully the next batch will be gooodddd!

After that, I went home and returned my business pants I bought from Mischief in Westwood, thankfully they accepted it, and was really tempted to buy one of their really whorey club tops, but I thought better of it as I knew my mother would be like wtf? when I got home. I ended up grabbing 2 pairs of jeans to compensate...and getting pissed since they didn't fit very well (which isn't unusual... I've got one awkward size). I spent so much time in that store trying to find something I liked that the Transit thing where u buy tickets from was closed... those fags. 

Anyway, I'm done wasting my life away on LJ, will continue later :P. One of my luckier days tho... it was fun :) hopefully I can sleep well tonight to make the day perfect.

Homan, this week has been stressful. We're the first presentation in West and the World and it's not going very well. Presentation = Monday, we aren't even done yet!

Of course, facebook and LJ have not made this any easier. Oops :|. My mom is sleeping all weekend though, so I have nothing to do but homework, and I've got plenty of it. Japneet woke me up at 8 AM today so I could start working... hearing London Bridge while waking up... is a new experience, let's just say. I'm going to change my ringtone sometime soon... daddy might kill me because of the phone bill, but hey, I don't really care. I'm thinking about volunteering at the YMCA so I have to get a police records check done... I might go to the headquarters sometime soon. I also need to go shopping for like.. professional-ish clothes for Monday. I also need to go and buy contacts, because I'm practically out. No more dailies, they go fast :(.

Steph and I are going volunteering for 3 hours on Sunday... good luck to us, eh :|. Kinda insane, but we can do it. We'll like pass out from allergies, but we'll live!

Yesterday after having a pretty laid back/tension filled day, we went to volunteering @ Petsmart. It was boring at times, but fun as usual. Then we went to Stephanie's house and ate some food in her sunroom... and said a lot of stupid crap we can't remember. It's not that we were drinking, we are just retarded :|. I remember saying "I'm going to put that in my msn name!" but I can't remember why... and Julia said "scramble the damn cards, bitch" to Steph... LOL it was pretty funny. And then my contact popped out of my eye by itself, so I gave it to Stephanie so she could play with it, and then Steph had the urge to put it on her touge... and then said she's licking my eye jelly... homg. She's an intelligent one! Yeah, and then she drove me and Julia home.. and it was such a fun, relaxing ride, I wish it lasted longer :P. They made my Friday. Like usual, actually, because it's been like every Friday together for the last little while.

Like a week ago, I kept thinking "man, my crew has become so freakin' anal. They don't want to chill with us anymore, they don't give a damn about us anymore, all the best friends within that group have disappeared and now I'm just stuck with my 3 best girlies... what the hell happend?" Not that having only 3 best friends is a bad thing.. it's just that... they're still my friends but we used to be so much CLOSER... I miss it. Then today I realized something... I'm an idiot. I just had to go bug them enough to do something, and tell them that I missed all the times together and BYAMM! I solved the problem. I told Alex that I missed the good 'ol times when we'd talk for hours on MSN and we'd go out and chill - today we went to Timmy's alone and chilled and talked all the way there :). Last week sometime, we managed to drag Eldon out to Dixie with Julia and I where he could hear all our perverted conversations and still have a fun time. Today afterschool, I walked onto Stephanie's bus and said I wanted to do something, she said she was free, and I ended up going to her place for a while with Alex who we invited along last minute too :D. We had fun chilling at Stephanie's house, even though we did nothing but eat a medium meat lovers pizza and go down memory lane. I still miss the old get togethers and the giant group we'd walk to Caesars with, but hey, I can work on it :P. I won't let our groups relationship die on MY behalf, anyway. I'm going to still keep it thriving. I swear it.

Semi Formal 2006 kicked ass.

Thursday night I went to Bramalea City Centre last minute to buy a random pair of silver shoes to go with my dress. It was hectic. I couldn't find a pair that I liked and they all sucked, etc, etc. Just really annoying. Then I went to this random store (again, since I had already been there earlier in the day) and told the lady I'm leaving with a pair and to just find me something that fit properly. I also bought brown nailpolish, pantyhose and random cushions for my sandals. I was supposed to be home by 6 PM, but I ended up getting home at like 7:15. Took me only 7-10 minutes to drive from Bramalea City Centre to home... it always seems faster when I'm driving, I unno why. I go at the speed limit too... maybe I'm just so entertained I dont notice time passing lol. Yeah, I really enjoy driving alone... music + driving around = fun.  Anyway, then I did my nails (and messed them up) and my legs when I got home.

Didn't sleep any that night, then I got up at 5:30 AM and ate, took a shower and went to school with two bags (my school bag and then clothes for sleeping over/my dress). I don't know how I managed it, but I did :D. Calc was boring, I.B. we did our summative presentation randomly (and failed) and then in West and the World we went to the library. I was dead all day long; I had a headache, I was tired and I was hungryyyy. At lunch, we went out to Dixie as a group like good 'ol times... a group being.. Alex, Eldon, Aeron, Julia, Dota and I. Still not the normal sized group, but hey, it's a start!

Julia and I went on Dota's bus afterschool and ate pizza at her house before her grandpa came and picked us up and we went to their house. They live in Rexdale like 5 minutes away from the hall, so it was just the perfect place to get ready. The night was so hectic when it came to taking our pictures... like homg. We had to wait and wait and wait, then people would get bored and bail and then we couldn't find people when we had to take our pictures... yeah, it just didn't work out. We eventually got them taken when the music had to be turned down for 10 minutes because the hall nextdoor was reciting vows and we were too loud :D. The buffet was cool... we got to pick what we wanted and stuff, but waiting for food was annoying but hey it's all good. There wasn't any spills or falls so it's pretty good. The rest of the night was just dancing :D it was so much fun. Most of the people we were sitting with stayed at the very front because the music was loud and stuff... but the fog and the jumping got to me. I didn't like getting stamped on/trying to jump... so I went further back. I ended up grinding with like 8 people... but we won't get into that! Hopefully the rumours won't be too bad on Monday; that would just suck.

Anyway I'm kinda too lazy 2 write details right now - let's just say SEMI WAS AMAZING and PROM BETTER BE BETTER THAN SEMI.

I bought my semi dress. It cost (in total) $142. I only bought an expensive dress because I'll use this one later in university :D. Also the other options were, a) too slutty, b) the stitch wasn't worth the money, c) too formal, d) fit awkwardly in some areas. So we're like, "Meh, might as well buy the more expensive dress." I have to buy heels for it still *slices wrists quickly*. 

Tomorrow I have a calculus quiz on some unit I don't understand, and we have our business plan due in IB (but of course, we've had 3 days [4 for Steph] to do it, so we decided that HEY! Let's procrastinate one more day! And yea. Business plan will be a day late :). On Wednesday, I have my Travel Presentation [Note to Steph: Bring Laptop or we shall be dead :O] which is a piece of CRAP right now. We should really work on that, but again, procrastination is a powerful, powerful thing. I'm more concerned about what I'm wearing that day than the actual presentation, haha. I'm not wearing anything special other than black business pants. But whatever keeps my mind occupied!

SEMI IS ON FRIDAY. HOMFG. Decisions, decisions... like.. should I bother attempting to wax my legs? Or just fuck it and Nair the beastliness off. The second option is sounding much more appealing right now. Looks like right now we're just going to Stephanie's after, and hopefully we can pull an allnighter (which will be SO FREAKIN' HARD because we wake up UBER early for the day and have to stay lively until like MIDNIGHT). But we're going to do it. Otherwise, we're going to have like a shot of vodka or something so we can be completely knocked out. Better yet, we'll give Jenee that shot, because the rest of us won't have problems falling asleep if she shut up :). I love Jenee!

*sigh* It's like I'm forever going out... yet I have no life. How do these things work?! I'm so tired, I'm going to make this a really simple entry lol.

Anyway, Julia and I had to start our IB Travel project on Finland, so I bussed to Medowvale Town Centre and her mom and her picked me up. I could've bussed all the way to her house but they wouldn't have it. We worked for a straight 2 or 3 hours, then got a severe case of A.D.D. and stopped working :). We went to Dota's house to sleepover and were planning to go see Borat with some people, but that failed since we weren't willing to go all the way to Square One for it. We ended up talking for a while, then we decided to go to dinner somewhere (Swiss Chalet). Julia and I wanted to wear something nicer, so we made Dota dress us (we felt uber special because Dota wears expensive brand names... I was wearing a pepe jeans shirt at one point... and omg I wore a parsuco sweater [with nothing under it] all night. I decided not to bring a winter jacket with me, so they decided to do the same. Then we actually got there, I asked for them to give us a secluded table, and the phrase of the night came up: "Guys... we can't be this stupid...". Basically, we can't manage dinner menus, forks or knives... Dota couldn't figure out why my straw bent so easily because she put her straw into her cup the wrong way.. we couldn't decide on what to eat so we all got the same thing... there's more.. that was just the beginning of the night. Then while we were freezing waiting for Dota's dad, Julia thought it would be terribly amusing to unzip my sweater while some people were leaving Swiss Chalet. Uber awkward moment in my pokadotted bra. Oh yeah, Julia was wearing a sparkly Bebe Sport shirt.. so while watching her reflection in the mirror she'd do this little jig to see it sparkle. Yeah, people looked at us like we were pretty retarded. We went home, decided to go into the basement and play... JENGA?! Yeah, tottally my fault - I have urges to do different things. We ended adding a little risk to the game... which turned out really bad... no comment on it here though :D. I was doing SOOO WELL at the beginning, but then I started getting careless and I couldn't pay attention very well... yeah. Bloody hell. Anyway, then at around midnight, Dota's mom came home and was going to go with Carol to drop off this random truck... after bitching for a while about us not answering the door we went to Timmys with Carol.. yeah... she's so fuckin' funny!!!!!! Carol STRADDLED Dota's mom in Timmys.. we were dying laughing. I'd tell you the things we talked about but...yeah I'm not going to. Went to sleep at 2:30-3:00 AM, didn't actually fall asleep, left at 10:20 and got home at 11:30ish.

Today was pretty random. Julia called me up and asked me if I wanted to go to a Christina Aguilera concert (she's being introduced by the Pussycat Dolls). I said yes. Tickets went on sale at 10 AM and we got really good seats. Then, I attempted to study for west and the world, I believe I got a pretty good mark on the first part, but a bad mark on the second part. I was a tad bit out of it and my contacts were like "UR AN IDIOT, WHY DID U WEAR ME WHEN U KNOW UR SUPPOSED TO BE WRITING A TEST?! IDIOT." so I had to like... look away all the time. Cut it to the last minute for the essay... and I forgot to double space it... bah. I hope he doesn't deduct marks because of it... oopz :D.

Julia and I decided to stay after school last minute for Graydon Reaching Out meeting... we're going to collect pop can tabs... I have no idea why, but after 10 hours of it, I get an activity point. While we were leaving, we were trying to figure out if taking the 8 would be faster, or taking the 5 to the .. other random bus that Julia was convinced was faster. After finally winning and convincing Julia it's the 8, we saw Stephanie just outside the doors of the school. So we bugged her for a while, while she was drunk off her jap culture meeting and asked her to drive us to Square 1. Originally, she wasn't going to come with us, but we made her call that clothing place she wanted to see and SHOCKINGLY ENOUGH  we saved her ass one helluva long trip to Bramalea City Centre since her pants hadn't come in yet. I think she found a really hot top at square one that she's going to buy (I'm pretty sure it was the one I saw, but I'm not sure because she apparently went to Bram City Centre afterwards and I don't know if she found another one or not). I really liked this red dress I saw there, but its $120. My mom agrees to pay for it, so I might get it. I really like the black and gold one too... but the only thing that throws me off is the random gold chain thing.. I'd show pictures but I don't have them.

I had to walk home alone in Malton at night, which FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER was not scary? It was dark it was so pretty... I love being outside at night <3. I think I wasn't scared because a) with the 7 I cna get off like 5 minutes away from home, b) I convinced myself that if I got jumped it would be one cool story to tell... haha I'm so intelligent.

Anyway I have to go... random update = done.

I woke up at like... 9 AM today... like wth is wrong with me? Way too fuckin' earlyyyy... *dies*

Can't wait until Semi. I need an outfit to get it off my mind - that's the only reason why I'm thinking about it, I've got no bloody outfit :D. Last time I saved it for the day before, this year that's not going to happen, I swear!! BAHH!

I went Volunteering again today for a few hours. OMG so packed - Steph you should've been there. The lady (corin or something like that) is like.. insane. I think she runs the organization. They assume I know everyone and all their names or something - it's hard to catch up. Steph, btw, theres two new itty bitty kittens there, a little bigger than Smudge. Smudge was almost sold today, an asian family came in and were really interested. They filled out an adoption form I think. I'm thinking about going again tomorrow, but I doubt I'll go. I have to study learn calculus tomorrow and possibly go shopping for Semi stuff - I can't possibly leave this to the last minute again. We gotta plan out our tables too, this is what I'm looking at so far:
